A heartfelt thanks to every one of our sponsors, racers and racer families. With your support Team Bicycle Heaven has grown into one of the most successful teams in the Chicago area!
We would also like to acknowledge the help of Rob Kelley. Other then being Team Captain to all Bicycle Heaven Racers, Rob is also a local race promoter successfully organizing the Campton Cyclocross race for the last 5 years. This race is one of the crown jewels in the Chicago Cyclocross Cup and we are very proud of the hard work Rob and the team contribute to the rapidly expanding sport of cyclocross.
In addition to being promoter extraordinaire Rob also coaches our trainer classes on Tuesday and Thursday. If you are interested in Rob's personal touch just give the shop a call for training and coaching information.
More than just a bunch of guys in the same jersey, our team reflects the support, friendship and goodwill that makes Bicycle Heaven such a special shop. Store owner AND CAT 2 team racer Ara Oggoian has been involved in the cycling community for over twenty years and his loud laugh has been heard at the front of the peloton in many races and rides. If you haven't met him yet, you probably haven't been riding fast enough. Or drinking enough beer.
Stay tuned for group ride info as well as target races in 2010. If you haven't checked out ChicagoBikeRacing.com, give it a look as it has loads of info concerning the local race scene.
For any and all questions concerning racing in the Chicago area just give the shop a shout or ask one of our racers at the next race.
